Terms of service
A reminder or three. That's the whole deal.
Using I Just Ate Beets means agreeing to the few things below.
The service
I Just Ate Beets sends up to three messages the day after you ask for it, at the times you choose, in the time zone your device reports. That's all it does. We make a reasonable effort to deliver it, but carriers, browsers, and networks can drop messages, so we can't guarantee it arrives.
Text messages
By tapping Remind me with Text message selected, you agree to receive up to three automated texts from I Just Ate Beets at the number you entered. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. US numbers only, and the number must be yours or one you're allowed to use.
Notifications
With Notification selected, we send the push notifications you asked for through your browser, then delete the subscription. You can block notifications for this site in your browser at any time.
Not medical advice
This is a reminder that beets can change the color of what ends up in the toilet. It isn't medical advice. If you didn't eat beets and you're seeing red, or you're worried for any reason, call a doctor.
No promises
The service is provided as is, free of charge, without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for a missed, late, or duplicated reminder, or for anything you do or don't do because of one.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms; the effective date above tells you when. Questions: hello@ijustatebeets.com.
